About the event
The GROTA Darkmarket is an avant-garde Artist Market hosted by Gothe Residency of the Arts and Vincent Gothe across various cities in North America and Europe, with the aim to create a dynamic, community building marketplace that showcases a blend of regional and international artistry, craft, and aesthetic—all whilst fundraising for our Artist Residency programme. Our market will begin in North America, predominantly in areas accessible to our visionary team up the east coast—with the possibility of more locations being added as our market gains momentum and support. The GROTA Darkmarket market will feature a selection of dark-spirited vendors: artists and illustrators, oddity makers, curiosity enthusiasts, musicians and more, drawing a crowd passionate about the dark arts and community.
