E.D. Stewart was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. Stewart works predominantly in the media of oil and charcoal, however, she has expanded her skills to include acrylics, jewelry and other various media, including photography and altered bottles and boxes.

E.D. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education specializing in Studio Art. She is a world traveler, and a ever-faithful patron of the arts in all forms. 
 

Currently, Stewart is working on a series of portraits of women in music as well as a collection of "foodie porn" photography.
